Biographical Introduction – Dr. Paul E. Engle

Dr. Paul E. Engle is Associate Publisher for Editorial Development and Executive Editor for Zondervan leading the Church, Academic, and Reference Resources team. He pastored churches in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Illinois, and Michigan for twenty-two years and is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. He has taught at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and as a visiting instructor in the Doctor of Ministry programs of Reformed Theological Seminary, Knox Theological Seminary, and New Geneva Theological Seminary. He has traveked extensively around the world to all of the continents except one. Mr. Engle has earned degrees from Houghton College, Wheaton College Graduate School, and Westminster Theological Seminary. His doctoral work focused on the renewal of worship in the local church. Among the nine books he has authored are Discovering the Fullness of Worship, Baker’s Wedding Handbook, and Baker’s Worship Handbook. In addition to his acquisitions and publishing position with Zondervan he conducts a seminar, preaching, and teaching ministry.
